FUR-BALLS

Sleeping cat

For cats shedding is natural occurrence and happens year round but is usually more frequent during the spring and summer months. It’s natural for a certain amount of fur to be swallowed but sometimes it builds up in the intestines and causes a blockage which is called a ‘fur ball.’ This may cause coughing, discomfort and constipation. It is easily remedied at home, but in extreme cases veterinary treatment may be needed.

Flint River Ranch has a special formula created for our feline friends that helps to aid in the breakdown and digestion of hairballs.
